Our mission is to fill the gaps of the child welfare system by providing assistance to foster, adoptive, and kinship families through trainings, support and in-kind services.
Vision Statement
The Foster Adoptive Family Resource & Support Center envisions a
future in which:
Our agency is recognized as effectively influencing and advocating for public policy and legislation that enhances the success of foster, adoptive and kinship children and the families who care for them.
Individuals and families choosing to become Resource Families will
receive the respect and support from the community.
Strong community support for foster, adoptive, kinship children and the families who care for them.
Goals
To encourage community awareness and education through collaborations and partnerships with other organizations.
To help foster and adoptive parents and other concerned citizens work to improve services for foster and adopted children.
To train, inform and support local foster, adoptive, kinship associations, support groups, leaders and mentors so each community will have strong local advocates.
