Every Tuesday for 7 weeks,
5:30 - 8:00pm, dinner and childcare are included!
Parent and youth meet separately for the first hour then
come together for the second hour for games and family
projects.

Communication Forum (6:00pm - 8:00pm) Location: Calhoun County Department of Human Services (FIA), 3rd floor conference
room. This is your chance to be heard by the Department of Human Services (FIA) supervisors and
hear what is new at the agency. Tell us how we can
make your experience as a foster parent better and provide
you with the support you need. We value the input
foster parents have given us in the past. So come be a
part of the discussion with Jerome Colwell, Cyntheal Cooper

Adoption Training (9:00am - 12:00pm)
Location: Calhoun County Department of Human Services (Department of Human Services (FIA)), 3rd floor conference
room.
Dave Stevens (269-966-1728) and Carita Fox (269-966-1628),
Calhoun County Department of Human Services (FIA) Adoption Workers will be conducting the
training. This training is open to all foster, relative
and kinship parents who have an interest in adopting or are
going through the adoption process at this time. Parties
who are currently going through the adoptive process are
encouraged to attend this training. Previous adoptive
parents are also invited to this training. The training
will include an orientation to the adoptive process, an overview
of the legal process, post adoption services and some
information on the needs of children available for adoption.

especially grandparents raising grandchildren. The
class will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:30pm
beginning March 8th.
